日本輕井澤冰壺基礎訓練課程

Experience curling in Karuizawa, the site of 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics curling competition. Training is conducted at Miyota Ice Centre and the Karuizawa Ice Park. Miyota is an established ice rink with three ice sheets while the Karuizawa Ice Park is a new facility opened in 2013, with a dedicated six-sheet curling rink. This Camp is a complete introductory curling course which enables participants to master all the basic skills through both:
⚫ Off-ice instruction to go over terminology, ice safety, rules and theories
⚫ On-ice Instruction to practice skills on how to deliver the stone, how to sweep, basic strategy and game
Qualification and Award:
Participants who have completed the training course will be qualified for Bronze Level of Curling Award. This is an essential requirement for Level One Floor Curling Instructors to proceed to the next level of coaching qualification
Footwear and Equipment:
CURLING SHOES and required equipment are provided.
Clothing:
Dress in layers. The arena temperature is about 7-10 degrees Celsius. You’ll be practicing on ice of – 6 Degree Celsius for two hours. If you normally wear a hat outside, you’ll probably want to wear one while curling as well. Clothing should allow freedom of movement. You need to be able to squat and lunge. Lightweight gloves keep your hands warm while still allowing you to feel the stone. If your feet tend to get cold, consider wearing two pairs of socks
